SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The LSU Shreveport (LSUS) Pilots Baseball team will be joining names like Dak Prescott, Elvis Presley, and Terry Bradshaw in the Red River Arts District.

The Pilots made history as the first collegiate baseball team to achieve a perfect 59-0 winning streak last season, earning them national recognition. That feat will now be immortalized on the Northwest Louisiana Walk of Stars

Individuals are usually inducted, but they are the second group to join the Walk of Stars, following the Centenary College Choir.

"We'll also hope that the walk serves as an inspiration for young people. To see 'Hey, he's from here, she's from here, and they made it big. Maybe if I apply myself, I can make it big too," says Walk of Stars president John Lieberman during the induction
