The uncle of a man charged in an auto theft ring, which targeted a Southwestern Ontario classic car dealer, faces charges for allegedly lying to the lead police investigator, according to court documents.

Jack Bradshaw, 77, of Quinte West, and Roger Thompson, 74, of Belleville, are the latest individuals charged in a large-scale theft from Grogan Classics, a vintage car dealer based in Watford.

The OPP launched an investigation in late 2023 after Larry Grogan, the owner of Grogan Classics, reported multiple vehicles stolen. That led police to search a property in Stirling, a community north of Belleville in eastern Ontario, where they seized vehicles worth $3 million in May 2024, police said at the time.
