The owner of an 18-wheeler at the center of a Dallas Police investigation wants to clear his company’s name. This week, police asked the public’s help to identify a big-rig involved in a crash a week ago that caused another driver to lose his arm.
According to the Dallas Police Department (DPD), around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, police received a call of a crash involving an 18-wheeler.
Police said, according to their preliminary investigation, the driver of the truck was headed northbound in the 5300 block of S. Cockrell Hill Rd when it hit another vehicle and left the scene.
DPD put out a picture of the truck with a distinctive Dallas Cowboys star on the side.
