Ukraine’s drone commander has told Hungary’s leadership to “shove your sanctions up your a---” as relations between the two countries plummet over strikes disrupting Budapest’s Russian oil supplies.

Robert “Magyar” Brovdi accused Hungary of being “elbow-deep in Ukrainian blood” after the country banned him from entry for hitting a key pipeline.

Mr Brovdi, who is of Hungarian descent, said the country’s continued purchase of Russian oil made it complicit in the killing of Ukrainian civilians.
