MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Good news for Catholic families in the greater Milwaukee area, ground has been broken on the Prince of Peace Catholic School.

Earlier today, Aug. 28, leaders from the City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Archdiocese Jeffrey Grob were present for the groundbreaking ceremony near 25th and Scott.

The archdiocese and executives from Seton Catholic Schools have been working together for the better part of ten years.

They say their goal is to unify the Catholic school system.

This is one of the two schools getting upgrades, they hope the new schools bolster community involvement and outreach.
