SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Today has been made a KSLA First Alert Weather Day due to the potential for the storms expected this afternoon to become severe at times! Almost all of the ArkLaTex is under a Marginal (Level 1/5) risk of severe weather, with some under a Slight (level 2/5) risk. There is a higher likelihood for strong winds and large hail. The chance remains low for tornadoes through the entire area through tonight, but there is a slightly higher chance for those located in the slight risk zone. Flash flooding is also a concern, as areas around and north of I-20 are currently under a Flood Watch.
Through tonight, storms will remain possible, and more could develop into Friday morning, making the morning commute wet and stormy across the Four State region. Damaging winds are a pos
