KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Kennewick Police Department’s (KPD) Criminal Apprehension Team executed a search warrant in the 10000 block of Ridgeline Drive, according to a Facebook post from KPD .

The operation was supported by Tri-City Regional SWAT members, the METRO Drug Task Force, and detectives from the KPD Criminal Investigations Division.

During the operation, 18-year-old Ramiro Campos-Castro was detained without incident.

Inside the apartment, officers found a stolen firearm. Campos-Castro was subsequently arrested and booked into Benton County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen Firearm.
