At least four cast members will not be returning to Saturday Night Live for next season. First, Devon Walker announced his departure after his three-season tenure, then Emil Wakeem after one season. Sources report that Heidi Gardner and Michael Longfellow are also leaving after eight and three seasons, respectively.

Walker wrote on Instagram, "Sometimes it was really cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell...We made a fucked up lil family." Wakim wrote, "It was a gut punch of a call to get," but says he is "grateful as hell." In his post, Longfellow said that "It was the best three years of my life so far." Gardner has not yet commented.

Damn, a little surprised.
