The Encino Neighborhood Council is speaking out about the ongoing fire risks in the Sepulveda Basin caused by overgrown brush and homeless encampments. Council President Roy Nwaisser said previous requests to clear the area have gone largely unaddressed and called for a concrete plan and timeline to protect local families and youth sports fields.
