SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — There's nothing quite as patriotic as the bald eagle.
Jessica Hall, the CEO for the American Eagle Foundation in Kodak, Tennessee, said their mission is to conserve, educate, and protect.
"Education is really, kind of, we look at it as the body of the eagle. We feel like, through really good fun interactive edutainment, that we can inspire people to want to conserve and protect the bald eagle," Hall said.
Part of the entertainment the non-profit has been part of included their star eagle, Challenger. He flew high in the sky above many famous sporting events, including the Super Bowl. Challenger has since retired, so now it is Lincoln's turn to soar into the spotlight.
