To say people were excited about Taylor Swift's engagement is a bit of an understatement. The 14-time Grammy winner announced her engagement to Travis Kelce via a joint Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, and the post has garnered over 33 million likes. The likes count has earned the power couple the unofficial 11th spot on the all-time liked post list (according to the never-wrong Wikipedia).

Swift and Kelce's engagement photos feature five shots, including one of her utterly stunning ring. On Thursday night, the engaged couple was seen together for the first time since the announcement as they went to support Kelce's alma mater Cincinnati in a college football game against Nebraska at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

This was also the first time that everyone got to see Swift's engagement ring in real life, and it absolutely did not disappoint.

The outing to take in some Week 1 college football is just the latest in a big month for the singer as Swift has made her podcast debut (with Kelce on his New Heights show with brother, Jason), announced a new album (The Life Of A Showgirl, out October 3) and got engaged.

Not a bad August, to be honest.
