ROBERSTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Robertson County man is urging gun owners to think twice about safety after finding a bullet lodged in his house.

Albert Burton said hearing gunshots in the area isn’t unusual, with people hunting deer or turkey, or practicing target shooting. But he’s concerned about what happens when someone misses.

“We’re lucky. If it was straight on, it probably would’ve gone through,” Burton said.

Burton said he was working in his yard when he noticed the bullet stuck in the front of his home. He believes it ricocheted off his driveway and lost some force before hitting the wall.
