CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating after someone was shot in south Charlotte, across the street from the Cotswold Village Shopping Center. It happened Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of Sharon Amity Road inside of Horizon Eye Care.

Our crew on the scene saw several bags of evidence being carried out of the office by detectives. Medic tells us the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but those have since been down-graded to non-life threatening.
