TYLER, Texas (KETK) - Construction equipment is out and ready in Tyler's downtown square setting the scene for the Downtown Improvement Project groundbreaking on Friday.
"I'm always excited to see new buildings and new construction and renovations and stuff like that," barista at Crema Coffee Company Albert Chum said. "Of course, business is always good, new business is always good."
Several businesses lining the square said they are excited for the new redesign including Jones Kelm, who works for Giovanni Brewing Company.
"With the new courthouse being put in and then later on the square being changed and revamped over to the other side, it's going to be interesting how it affects foot traffic along with just regular traffic here downtown," Kelm said.
