TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Southern Arizona Roadrunners are set to host the 54th Annual TMC Saguaro National Park Labor Day 8-Mile Run and 5K Run/Walk on Monday, September 1. This event is one of the few running events permitted on National Park Service land.
Taking place at Saguaro National Park East, the race will begin at 5:30 a.m. and conclude by 8:00 a.m. Participants, including runners, walkers, and chair athletes, will be available for interviews and community stories.
The event aims to raise funds for the Friends of Saguaro National Park, the National Park Service, and the Southern Arizona Roadrunners. Participation is capped at 800 individuals.
