TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WHNT) — It's now been one week since August was released from UAB hospital after suffering major injuries on Deshler High School's campus.

Tuscumbia police announced Thursday that the case has been transferred to the Franklin County Juvenile Probation Office.

What's more, the department said the Madison County District Attorney's Office is assisting them in the case.

According to the latest update, that's because all of the subjects and witnesses are under the age of 18.
