GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -

A class action lawsuit against the University of Florida over student fees charged during the COVID-19 lockdown has a clear path to proceed.

The University withdrew a request for the state supreme court to reconsider a decision from last month that revived the lawsuit.

The lawsuit seeks refunds for services that were not provided due to the lockdown. An appeals court shut down the lawsuit, but the state supreme court overturned the decision on July 17th.
