EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)-- Residents in an Evansville neighborhood are scared, worried, and looking for answers after a woman was found dead in a house.
"When we heard the sirens...we were very surprised because it never happens in this neighborhood," Tatiana Dunn.
Tatiana Dunn lives across the street and heard the sirens. Police responded to reports of a medical emergency at a house in the 3300 block of Gum Street around 5 pm Wednesday. When inside, they found an unresponsive woman, who was beyond life-saving efforts. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
"We were told that it was not a natural cause, and it makes us really sad and scared," Dunn.
