MURRAY – The art of journalism is alive and well at Calloway County High School, where the Laker Review’s staff writers are working diligently to keep their fellow students informed of important happenings both inside and outside the school.
Breeanna Maupin has taught at CCHS for five years now, and this is her second year as advisor for the Laker Review after English teacher Kim Barrett’s retirement. She said she has been impressed by the knowledge and skill the older students have displayed, which helped her adjust to her new role last year much more smoothly than she expected.
