STILLWATER — As his pass thumped off the turf of Boone Pickens Stadium with 1:51 left in the first quarter of Oklahoma State’s season opener Thursday evening, Hauss Hejny’s day was done.
Not by anyone’s choice, but because of a lower leg injury, the extent of which was not known late Thursday night.
So, just two days after Hejny had been named Oklahoma State’s starting quarterback , he was suddenly sidelined and Zane Flores entered the fray.
