QUINCY -- With the regular season quickly approaching, the Quincy High School boys soccer team has been putting in the work during practice.
The Blue Devils have had a good mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen.
"I think the camaraderie between the group of kids is really good," said QHS head coach Ron Bridal. "We focus on having a positive, competitive environment. I think that you can see that's exactly what we got going on in practice. So it's been a good summer and a good preseason."
It's been a positive atmosphere at summer camp and fall practices.
"The younger kids have all shown that they're really good at listening," said QHS senior defender Bennett Soltwedel. "They all want to be here and they all want to play. So it's good to have a strong group of young men to lead."
