Ryan French, board member and secretary of the Roswell Independent School District (RISD), didn’t file for a second term on the board representing District 1, the Bureau of Elections, Chaves County Clerk’s office.

This has been French’s first term on the board. Attempts to reach him were unsuccessful.

District 1 seat

Mona Kirk, a retired RISD school principal on this board for District 1 from 2016 to the end of 2021, is currently the 1st vice chair of the county’s Republican Party central committee.

Sarah McArthur, the former chair of the Democratic Party of Chaves County with a professional background that includes being a retired state employee and local artist. McArthur has withdrawn from the Roswell City Council race.
