We shouldn’t have to wait until May Town Meeting to find out how our town departments are doing, month to month, and how that activity stacks up to previous years.

Official Sandwich ought to use social media much more often to tell us how busy and helpful they have been, rather than make us wait for the annual report.

It’s a win-win. A no-brainer. And it doesn’t cost extra.

Voters want to know this stuff, especially when they evaluate whether to open their wallets to additional spending.
