SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - The holiday weekend will bring unsettled weather across Florida, with daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms. This will be especially true on Sunday and Monday.
Mornings will generally start off quiet, but by late morning or early afternoon today and Saturday the sea breeze will trigger storms that drift inland and then back toward the coast in the evening. With deep tropical moisture and a stalled front nearby, rain chances are high each day.
That will be especially the case on Sunday and Monday, with repeated downpours that could lead to localized flooding. Some storms may linger into the overnight hours near the coast.
Temperatures will begin in the low to mid-90s on Friday, then ease back into the upper 80s to around 90 through the weekend as cloud cov
