Tesla has officially launched its new Model Y Performance trim in Europe, and it's even better than we thought it'd be — but it will cost you.
As expected, the performance-oriented trim looks like a slightly beefed up version of the standard Model Y, with a carbon fiber spoiler, 21-inch Arachnid wheels, and a slightly more aggressive front and rear fascia. Inside, you'll find carbon fiber details and sportier seats.
But it's the actual performance that makes this car really interesting, especially when you consider that this is still a family SUV. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h.
