The Dallas Cowboys have traded star defensive end and former Penn State star Micah Parsons to an NFC contender and rival.
Parsons has been dealt to the Green Bay Packers, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter .
As a part of the trade, the Packers have signed Parsons to a four-year, $188 million extension. He is set to make $47 million per year over the course of the four years, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
In order to land Parsons, the Packers gave up two first-round picks and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark, Schefter reports.
Clark, a former first-round pick, has earned Pro Bowl honors three times in his career.
