(Chanhassen, MN) -- A frenetic fourth quarter was capped by a walk-off field goal in the Chanhassen Storm's 24-22 victory over the visiting Alexandria Cardinals at the Chanhassen High School Stadium.
Senior place kicker Michael McDowell booted the game-winning field goal as time ran out to secure Chanhassen's 24-22 win. The Storm scored a total of 17 points in the final quarter to wipe out a 14-7 Cardinal lead.
The Storm signal caller, senior Nathan Ramler , threw for more than 350 yards and two touchdowns. His team made some adjustments in pass protection as the game moved along. Ramler was sacked three times in the opening half.
