See automotive action in Boyne City

It’s an automotive weekend in Boyne City.

Kiwanis of Boyne City will be hosting its 43rd Annual Labor Day Weekend Car Show on Friday and Saturday. Classic cars will be lined up in the 100 and 200 blocks of Water Street from 6-9 p.m. on Friday during Stroll the Streets. On Saturday, there will be the judged car show in Veterans Park. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and judging begins at 10 a.m. There are 18 judged classes. Prizes are expected to be announced around 2 p.m. There will also be music, door prizes, snacks and more.

The annual Boyne City Drag Races , a Labor Day weekend tradition since 2003, will also be back on Sunday, Aug. 3
