Brittanee Drexel's mother has accused her daughter's killer of hiding assets to avoid paying the $700 million she was awarded for the grief and pain she endured following Drexel's abduction in 2009.
Dawn Conley has asked a South Carolina judge to seize and sell two properties owned by Raymond Moody and allow her to collect the proceeds, court documents show. Conley sued Moody in January 2023. Earlier this year, a Georgetown County jury agreed that Moody "intentionally caused" the woman emotional distress by kidnapping and killing her daughter, and then lying about it for years while the unsolved case drew national attention.
