Newark Charter wins first varsity football game in school history

NEWARK – Antonella Taylor has been cheering since she was 5 years old. But not until Aug. 28 did the Newark Charter senior experience the charge of leading the crowd under the lights at a varsity high school football game.

"Now that we have a football team, it's so much fun," Taylor said.
