EVANSVILLE — The University of Southern Indiana will welcome an internationally recognized Holocaust expert to campus next month as part of its annual speaker series honoring survivors of Nazi persecution.

Dr. Wolf Gruner, the Shapell-Guerin Chair in Jewish Studies at the University of Southern California and founding director of the USC Shoah Foundation Center for Advanced Genocide Research, will present beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 in Carter Hall, University Center West, USI announced in a news release.

Gruner’s presentation, which marks the fourth installment of USI’s Edward D. and Regina Rechnic Holocaust Speaker Series, will also be live streamed online via Zoom.
