Mifflinburg at Danville

Maybe the most stunning score last week came in Danville. Not that the Ironmen lost — Bloomsburg is a contender in HAC-III — but it was the way Wyatt Brosious and Jack Katulis picked apart the Ironmen secondary that can’t make Danville very excited for Mifflinburg’s visit this week. It’s not just for the Wildcats’ passing ability. Their defensive line made it nearly impossible for Loyalsock to run the ball last week, and the Ironmen struggled against Bloomsburg — more from lack of work (the Ironmen only attempted 14 runs). It will be interesting to see how Mifflinburg reacts to last week’s victory. They dominated for 40 of 48 minutes and had an answer for the Lancers’ attempt to get back into the game.
