Police in Blantyre have arrested two women, Magret Malunga and Kwacha Neuha, in connection with the circulation of a viral nude video involving former Second Princess of 2022 Miss Malawi.

Blantyre Police spokesperson Mary Chiponda confirmed the arrests in an interview with Capital FM, saying the suspects are believed to have committed offences related to the distribution of obscene material on social media.

The video, widely shared across various platforms, has ignited national debate over privacy violations, cyberbullying, and the protection of women in the digital space.

Police say the suspects are expected to appear in court today, although they had not yet arrived at the court by press time. Sources indicate they had already been transferred from police custody for their initial app
