Nottingham Forest's David Carmo

Nottingham Forest defender David Carmo has joined Real Oviedo on loan.

The centre-back will spend the season with the Spanish side. Oviedo have the option to make the deal a permanent one at the end of the season.

Forest said in a statement: “Nottingham Forest can confirm that David Carmo has joined Real Oviedo. The defender has joined Oviedo on loan for the 2025/26 season, with the Spanish side also holding the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

“Carmo joined Forest from FC Porto last August and was immediately loaned to Olympiacos FC, going on to make 35 appearances last season. The 26-year-old is now set for a new chapter in Spain, with Real Oviedo currently sat 19th in La Liga. Everyone at Nottingham Forest wish
