With over 40 new players on the roster, SC State’s football team looks much different than the group that won the MEAC championship last year. Despite the turnover, head coach Chennis Berry’s mission does not change.

"The top of one mountain is the bottom of another mountain," said Berry when asked about the expectations. "You gotta keep climbing. At the end of the day it's a new team, it's a new season. We’re going to find guys who want to fall in love with the process of going 1-0 each day.”
