CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A Taco Bell employee was gunned down in the parking lot near downtown Cincinnati early Friday.
The 21-year-old victim was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Captain Stephen Bower, the night chief.
It’s not clear yet whether the man was working at the time, but he was not in a Taco Bell uniform. He wore jeans and a T-shirt, Captain Bower confirmed.
The worker was found mortally wounded when officers responded to a report of shots fired at the restaurant off Gest Street near Freeman Avenue’s exit off southbound Interstate 75 just after midnight.
The gunman fled the scene and remains at large, according to Captain Bower.
Homicide detectives plan to review video surveillance footage as they continue to investigate.
