Buhl football has opened its season against Weiser for 10 straight years and knows exactly what it gets from that game.

The Indians learn exactly what team they are, whether with the Wolverines exposing weaknesses or Buhl learning exactly what team it can be.

This year, the Indians learned the latter. They didn’t put together a complete performance, instead getting contributions from different phases throughout the game in a 19-14 win Thursday night at Bowers Field.

”I think it showed a lot of diversity,” senior tight end/defensive Porter Higley told the Times-News . “We had a lot of guys make a lot of big plays tonight, instead of just one guy a lot of times. So I thought was good.”
