Stonefish wins gold at Canada Games

Chatham’s Kalib Stonefish won a gold medal with Team Ontario in men’s softball at the Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, N.L. Article content Article content Article content

Ontario beat Quebec 4-2 in the final to finish with a 9-1 record.

Stonefish is playing this season with the Fingal U20 Storm. He was the all-star catcher at the Canadian U20 championship after batting .412 a month ago in Saskatoon, but the Storm finished out of the medals.

He won a silver medal last year with the Simcoe Rostock Braves at the Canadian U20 championship.
