LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- An electric bicyclist was severely injured after a crash with a motor vehicle on Thursday night.

According to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department, on August 28 at 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle accident in the first block of Church Road in Warwick Township near Forney Fields.

Police said an electric bicycle had been found in the area of the driveway for Forney Fields after it had collided with a Toyota in the southbound lane of Church Road.

The bicyclist suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where they are in "very serious condition." The driver of the Toyota was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
