EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison has shared the harrowing experience of when she suffered a stroke.

The 60-year-old actress, famous for playing Heather Trott in the BBC soap , disclosed earlier this month that she had been rushed to hospital during "one of the lowest times in [her] life".

"One of the hardest things is to process what it does to you. One minute you're walking, talking, going to the shops; the next your world is rocked. It's shocking," she told The Mirror.

Speaking on This Morning today (Friday 29 August), Cheryl confided in hosts Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson about the alarming incident that occurred in May.

She described taking a stroll with her son during the day, before developing a headache upon returning home, though having never suffered a migraine previously,
