Nationwide Building Society has issued a statement regarding a fresh feature being introduced for app users. Millions of customers use the app for their daily banking, with users able to make payment and check their statements.
A recent app update introduced dark mode functionality. This means that when your device has dark mode activated, the app's colour scheme will adjust as well.
Nevertheless, some customers have had difficulties with this new capability. One user mentioned that with dark mode enabled, the app display became too dim for them to navigate properly.
Nationwide informed the customer that a new feature would soon be incorporated into the banking app's menu, allowing users to switch dark mode on and off within the app, separate from their device preferences.
