The Met Office has said Brits living in 30 areas should consider preparing an ' emergency' flood kit containing three items. Much of the South East of England is set to be hit by heavy showers with disruption expected. As a result, the Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning to the millions expected to be effected . ‌

The warning will remain in place until 12pm today with thunder and hail also expected in some areas. Some parts of the country could see between 10-20mm of rainfall in less than an hour with up to
