EXCLUSIVE: Oscar-winning Danish director Anders Thomas Jensen lands in Venice this weekend with dark comedy The Last Viking , reuniting him with actors Mads Mikkelsen and Nikolaj Lie Kaas who have appeared in all of his films.

Jensen’s sixth feature, The Last Viking revolves around two brothers Anker (Kaas) and Manfred (Mikkelsen). When Anker is released from prison following a fifteen-year sentence for robbery, he is looking forward to getting his hands on the loot

Manfred, who was given the task of hiding the heist money, has developed a mental disorder and can no longer remember where he hid it. Together, the brothers embark on an unexpected journey to locate the money and discover who they really are.
