HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Hot air balloons will light up the night in Madisonville.

The Madisonville Illuminated Hot Air Balloon Festival is back for a second year. There will be local venders as well as food and drinks for purchase.

In addition to the display, two tethered balloons will also be available to ride for $15 a person.

Organizers say they are the highlight of the event.

It takes place Friday night from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Mahr Park Arboretum.
