Well, folks, it looks like we're in for a pleasant start to the long holiday weekend here in Evansville and across Southern Indiana. We will be monitoring the setup as high pressure settles in, bringing us dry conditions throughout the weekend. It's going to be wonderful weather for any outdoor plans, especially with temperatures expected to be several degrees below average for this time of year. Highs will generally be in the low to mid-80s, which is quite mild.
However, as we move into the early part of next week, we'll start to see a few changes. The models are nudging some moisture into the area starting Monday night, with chances for on-and-off small shower activity expected through Thursday. We could even see a few thunderstorms mixed in with those showers, so we'll keep a close eye
