Dane Co. Sheriff's Office: Town of Mazomanie death deemed as 'suspicious'

MAZOMANIE, Wis. -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office has deemed a death in the Town of Mazomanie late Thursday night as "suspicious."

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 9800 block of Dunlap Hollow Road at around 11:45 p.m. Thursday for an EMS assist.

Upon arrival, the sheriff's office determined the death as suspicious, and sheriff's office staff have been actively investigating this incident as of Friday morning.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office will release the victim's name following family notifications and autopsy results.
