Good riddance to Ryan Armagost, who clandestinely took a photo of Rep. Yara Zokaie for the sole purpose of disrespecting and humiliating her. Shame on those who piled on, gaslit Rep. Zokaie, and showed a total lack of respect.

We Weld Democrats are in solidarity with Rep. Zokaie and other women who do not deserve this misogynistic treatment from anyone.

We do not tolerate those who disrespect women, regardless of political party. However, there is no way this can be dismissed by faulty “both sides” logic. Rep. Zokaie’s GOP colleagues chose to disrespect her and lie to her. They all owe her an apology.

We also know that the people who live in HD 64 can do better for representation, and we look forward to supporting the best candidate who will actually work for their constituents.
