National Hunting and Fishing Day will take place next month and to mark the occasion, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is inviting young people and families Wenatchee.

The Saturday, September 13 th event will take place at the North Central Washington Gun Club . The free event will have morning and afternoon sessions where youth, accompanied by an adult, can participate in hands-on activities to learn about hunting, fishing, and conservation. Activities include:

Certified hunter education instructors, master hunters, and shooting range safety officers will be on site to provide training, guidance, and promote the importance of hunter safety and to ensure a safe environment.
