MOOSIC, P.A. (WSYR) -- After dropping the last three games to the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders, the Syracuse Mets offense exploded in their 11-8 win on Thursday. Jared Young and Joey Meneses kicked it off with home runs in the first inning. The Mets led 5-0 after one inning and kept it rolling in the second with a home run from Jett Williams and a double from Ryan Clifford. Ali Sanchez and Luisangel Acuna pushed Syracuse ahead 10-3 in the third and they kept the lead from there.

Syracuse continues its six-game series with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
