It looks like today will be the day for the launch of Canada’s first sub-orbital rocket from the Burin Peninsula.

NordSpace is a private company with an extensive track record in the field. Their team has been in St. Lawrence all week trying to catch the weather window.

The company chose St. Lawrence because of its proximity to the ocean.

The mini rocket will be airborne for only a short time before it crashes into the ocean.
